Question Our small conference room is all glass and echoing. People complain every call. How do we fix this without a remodel?
Mira Absorb highs, break up reflections, pick the right mic:
- Soft stuff Add a 5x7 rug, four fabric wall panels, and two plants in corners. Cheap, fast absorption.
- Table Keep the mic centered; avoid laptop mics (they gate weirdly).
- Device Poly Sync 20 or Jabra Speak 750—beamforming mics with echo cancelation.
- Placement Keep the speakerphone away from walls; 12–18" from the nearest person.
- Settings Disable “auto gain” in Zoom if it pumps noise; lock volume at ~70%.
