What We Track

• Google Analytics 4: We use GA4 with enhanced measurement enabled (page views, scrolls, outbound clicks, site search, video engagement, file downloads, and form interactions). Google signals is turned on, which lets GA4 associate visits with Google accounts when users have ad personalization enabled.
• Amazon affiliate links: Product links marked as “Amazon” are affiliate links; clicks may be tagged for reporting and affiliate attribution.

Email Subscriptions

We collect email addresses when you subscribe to The Signal newsletter. Subscriptions use double opt-in, and your email is stored and processed by Kit (ConvertKit), our email provider. We use your email only to send newsletters, updates, and occasional related announcements.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us at privacy@rockstaronduty.com.

We do not sell or share your email address with third parties.

• Measure which posts and gear reviews are useful.
• See outbound interest in products to prioritize future reviews.
• Spot site issues (slow pages, broken flows).

Your Choices

• Avoid clicking outbound links if you do not want click attribution.

Data Sharing

• GA4 data may be combined with Google signals to provide aggregated, anonymized reporting.
• We do not sell personal data. Affiliate programs receive the minimum data needed for referral attribution.
